‘Jaimahee’ Jayaraman hails from Nachiar Koil near Kumbakonam. He started off his career as a driver working for Organizations like Pallavan Transport Corporation, Sivananda Gurukulam, TSR & Co

After working as a driver for 12-13 years, he joined the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), Chennai Harbour as a Sub-Inspector for 5 years. During his tenure, he was posted in the northeastern states. Wanting to be closer to his home, and friends, he returned to Chennai and started on his own.

After a stint in coconut trading, he took up the assignment of conducting a friend’s sister’s wedding at Tirupati. Success in the assignment gave him the confidence to pursue catering services on a full-time basis. With support from friends and relatives, he started the catering services in 1987. Since then, there has been no looking back. He also played a huge role in making this sector organized, by being a part of ‘தென்னிந்திய சமையல் கலைஞர் முன்னேற்றக் கழகம்’ in various posts such as Deputy Secretary, Treasurer and Vice President over 3 terms between 1992-2010.

His services and clientele has grown multifold purely through referrals from satisfied customers. His brothers, Mr. Venkataraman & Mr. Ramesh has also joined the business over the years. As of now, Mr. Jayaraman & his brothers have undertaken wedding contracts all over Tamil Nadu and in Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Jaipur and Srilanka as well.

Our clientele include prominent and reputed dignitaries from various fields. Anuradha Raman (Author), DeviBala (Author), R.C. Shakthi (Film Director), Saavi (Author), Vaishnavi (Film Artiste), to name a few. Our major strength, of which we take immense pride is in maintaining close relationship with all our customers. We have also worked with Senior IAS/IPS officers, Reserve bank officials, Industrialists, Rotary Club Conferences. We also cherish our working experience in religious events like Kumbabishekams of temples in various cities, Annadhanams at Kanchi Mutt & temples across Tamil Nadu.

Catering Facilities/Infrastructure

Catering facility at Madipakkam measuring about 3000 sq.ft with latest infrastructure for preparing food, etc., for as many as 1000 to 5000 people at a time.

Delivery Vans, etc. are also available to provide the food items to the customers, on time.

1987
Modest Beginning
After various stints, we took the first wedding catering assignment at 'Tirupati' and 'Jaimahee Marriage services' was born. Since then, we have done over 3000 weddings & other functions all over India.
1990's
Organic Growth

As an emerging company, we slowly overcame the challenges during this phase and set a strong foot in this industry. We gained trust and loyalty from our customers and were recognized by more people purely through word of mouth. We have customers from all over the world who are family and we are proud to have been associated with them in their next generation weddings & family functions. We also export seer batchanams for weddings & functions of our customers in U.S, U.K & Europe.
